Now in its 13th year, our group exhibition, Materials, Messages, Meaning, invites artists and makers from Northern Ireland to explore their unique approaches to materials, the messages and meanings they wish to convey responding to the theme, 'Suspension'.

R Space’s ambition is to increase access, understanding and enjoyment of contemporary visual arts, crafts, design and other related arts activities. Artist talks, skill development workshops and outreach programmes are delivered throughout the year in the gallery space.

R-Space Gallery is committed to public outreach, with the aim of improving wellbeing by increasing engagement in the arts and facilitating community workshops. We collaborate with a diverse range of artists, makers and designers working in different media to provide audiences from a wide range of educational, social and cultural backgrounds with access to the arts.
