Tannaghmore Blacksmiths Workshops

Tannaghmore Blacksmiths Workshops was formed five years ago by sculptor/artist blacksmith Eamonn Higgins with the help of Craigavon Borough Council Arts Department as part of the ‘Art in the Wetlands’ public art project. TBW was joined by artist blacksmith Stephen Murphy through the Craft NI Making It programme in 2009.
R-Space plans to host TBW’s mobile forge in the courtyard to the rear of the gallery. This will act as a teaching centre for a 10-week programme of participative blacksmithing workshops which will accompany an exhibition of Metalwork in the main R-Space gallery.
